With 5,119 free downloads under my belt, One Night in Bridgeport has achieved #1 status in the Free Legal Thriller category and is at #64 in all Free Kindle downloads.  And, I’ve sold a couple more of my other books in the last 24 hours as well.

I don’t make any money directly off the free downloads but the knowledge that that many people will soon be reading my book is pretty daunting.  It’s what all writers strive for and now I have to worry about what they’ll think about this first foray.  It was the first significant piece of fiction I ever wrote.  Through two major re-writes and a couple more major edits, it’s now in a lot of people’s hands.  Horrors!!!
