Woot! Thanks for the reminder!
Read, commented and, more importantly, enjoyed.
Thank you. I really appreciate it!!
🙂
I don’t feel I can comfortably comment on anyone else’s prose, but I will say this, it’s great that you’re writing. Butt in chair, as Anne Lamott says, waiting to see what arrives on the page.
Hope you’re reading too. They go together, like milk and sugar.
🙂
Definitely reading. Far more of that than the actual writing.
But it will even out. They so compliment one another. 🙂
But you can go over to WattPad and vote and comment on it. 😉
i did vote.
Thank you!!!
I tried.
I went back in and you have to join and they asked me things that I don’t want to have to add. I’m not on FB, and my Twitter account just will put up a blog essay. I really don’t work social media. I’m sorry. But happy that you’re writing. Susannah
No worries. I totally get the desire to not sign up.
BUT YOU’RE WRITING!!!
What I’ve posted so far I wrote a number of years ago. The second part of the story, which I won’t be posting at WattPad (at least not yet) is what I’m working on now and it is very slow going.
Think of it like putting words now with tweezers. You’re mind is being selective, musing before it decides. The work will be spare and clear. Hemingway wrote that way. 🙂
Pulling with tweezers is a very accurate description.
I was thinking of you on my run…a suggestion. Get a copy of Julia Cameron’s The Right to Write. I think you should look at that. I keep it by my bed. I’ll be a little intrusive here, and apologize for it outta the gate, but you shouldn’t worry about votes. You’re a wonderful writer. Let your eloquence speak for itself. My unsolicited 2 cents.
Thank you for the suggestion. I’ll take a look at the book. As for the votes, I’m just trying to draw attention to the story to try to expand the number of eyeballs taking a look.
