About kingmidget

About the name. I was the youngest of four. Until I got to kindergarten, I didn't have much to say. All I had to do to get what I wanted was to point, and a sibling, or loving parent, would fulfill my request. As a result, my father coined the nickname -- King Midget. At least that's the way the story goes. I am a father, husband, friend, and lover, writer, runner, pizza maker, baker, and many other things. What I am not is my occupation. It is my job that pays the bills and provides for my family. But, it does not define me.

Your posts and prompts provide me with the motivation to try to write these things. So … thank you. I’m going to write something soon about your prompts and the opportunity they afford WordPress writers/bloggers to expand their horizons and re-engage in the kind of community that existed 4-6 years ago. I really do believe in the value of the kind of prompts you offer and the sharing of the results.

Well, pretty soon you will have enough poems to publish a poetry book ๐Ÿ™‚ Something to think about…

Thank you. There are lots of great writing challenges out there in the WordPress world. I try to find different ones to participate in. I love trying new things and new poetry forms. I think I am going to try to track the challenges on a calendar of sorts on my blog. So people know which challenges are coming up that they might want to try ๐Ÿ™‚
