Weed Therapy

No, not that kind.  Weed Therapy, a novel about a search for answers and life lessons.  A little church in Mexico and the magic of Father Juan Miguel Santos.  The last of the four.

  1. You showed me yours, now I’ll show you mine… http://www.ffmandh.com/garden-yoga-memoirs-of-a-goya/ —any chance of a review? It’s hard being in Israel and then to try to get into the American book scene, I thought you might be a good place to start considering you’re a gardener. Going to search for Weed Therapy just now, I’ll have to wait to actually buy it, though; I’ve reached my book quota for this month 😉

If you’re interested, thanks in advance,

Do you mean weed as in Cannabis? Over here in Scotland we are trying medical use. I will one of the first to get it. I smoke it at night when the kids are asleep, no pain killer works for what I have, so through my Pain team and Dr this is the plan…

    Sorry if I read wrong..

That’s the problem with the title of the book. It has nothing to do with Cannabis but everybody makes that assumption because of the title.

LOL…Yeah I can see why buddy. Easy mistake to make however… There was’t too much info there. Hope it goes well. I am writing a book. This is a small % of it I shared on another site. I was born into the IRA/Republicanism (Not Political Republicanism) Title is “Dining with the Devil” I did, I sat next to him and did his dirty work many times. I grew up, I am 40 years old, I pray every day, life is good. But with my illness, we found 9/10 had huge Childhood issues. Here it is if you are bored… Life in Scotland. I share only to show I am not that guy any more. As many call me on it to this day, family/friends etc.. I am the kid in the boat up in the North/West, Isle of Sky in Scotland. I can’t leave the UK.

See we are becoming friends…Lets keep it that way. As I said, I read a lot of what you write, you are a very decent man.

        Cheers buddy

Sorry man but you’re asking for it with that title! The stoners come out of the wood works when they see those two words together. See, you caught another one right here!

      • kingmidget says:

Yeah. I made a number of mistakes with Weed Therapy. The title was likely one of them.

      • pinklightsabre says:

Mistakes, man that’s living. No mistakes, no living. Live! Fix me a fire full of failures buddy and let it burn.

      • kingmidget says:

Yes. But I need to get over that particular mistake.

      • pinklightsabre says:

I get you, man — do what you need to do. I have a mistake like that that lasted about 20 years (a job, not entirely a mistake until the end) and it plagues me. Hopefully yours is smaller than that. I like what you say on your About page about occupations, I’d like to riff with you on that.

      • kingmidget says:

Riff away. I graduated from college with a useless degree, useless primarily because i didn’t really do anything while in college to set myself up for a good job. So I went to work as a word processor/receptionist at a local law school. I promoted to an Executive Assistant and realized I didn’t want to do that for the rest of my life. I went to law school and have spent the last 23 years as an attorney. I’ve worked for government for the last 18+ years. It’s not who I am and I have to pretend more and more as I go along. I am now down to three years until I can retire and become who I was meant to be. And you?

  3. An amazing story that I will be reading again in the near future!
